DELEGATE REGISTRATION - CANCELLATION FEES

Cancellation of a registration must be advised via email to: events@steadfast.com.au.

The following refunds will apply from the date of receipt of notification:

  • On or before 12 February 2026 - 100% refund including GST.
  • From 13 February 2026 - No refund will be available.
  • If a cancellation arises out of an order or direction issued under the relevant state or territory public health laws or government directives concerning COVID-19 a 100% refund will be available.
  • If Steadfast cancels the Convention due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, terrorism, war, strikes or industrial action not involving a party to this agreement, fire, explosion, inevitable accident, breakdown of property, changes in law, or pandemics or global health crises, a 100% refund less a 10% administration charge will be made.
  • The refund will be returned as soon as practicable via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.
  • No refund will be made after 13 February 2026; however, an alternative delegate name may be provided in writing and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.
  • Please note no refund or discount will be made if an inclusive function or event within the registration fee is not taken up or is subsequently cancelled.
  • Where there are extenuating circumstances, a refund outside of these terms in this document may be considered at the discretion of Steadfast.
  • Where a refund is not given or available and the sum is kept by Steadfast, the delegate acknowledges that this sum is a genuine pre-estimate of damage to Steadfast and not out of all proportion to Steadfast’s loss.

Steadfast Convention Pty Ltd ACN 124 799 ('Steadfast') reserves the right to change the venue and duration if exceptional circumstances demand and if in the best interests of the Convention.

Steadfast may cancel at any time any accepted application at its absolute discretion by providing written notice if the delegate or other attendee either ceases to be or is not part of the Steadfast network. Cancellations under this clause will receive a full refund.

TICKET / PASS PAYMENTS

Only credit card payments will be accepted for the ticket / pass payments.
All ticket / pass payments must be paid prior to attending the Convention, otherwise onsite payments must be made.

Accompanying spouse/partner tickets are only to be purchased by a person who is not associated with a competitor. No CPD points will be given to anyone registered as an accompanying spouse/partner.

ATTENDANCE

Steadfast reserves the right to either refuse admittance to or expel from the Convention anyone that it determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the Convention or any other attendee. Each delegate or other attendee consents and agrees that in such event, it will not be entitled to a refund of any portion of amounts paid. Attendees will follow any reasonable instruction given at the Convention by Steadfast.

ACCOMMODATION

For accommodation cancellation policies, please refer to the individual hotel policies. Any amendment to accommodation bookings must be made directly with the hotel. Please refer to the hotel for details on their accommodation cancellation policy.

INSURANCE

Delegates should consider taking out adequate travel and health insurance.
Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. Steadfast accepts no responsibility for any loss in this regard.

TAX

All Convention registration fees are quoted in Australian dollars and are exclusive of GST. GST is added when payment is made.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION CONSENT

We are committed to protecting the privacy of all personal information provided for this event registration. Your personal information provided, including your name, position, organisation, address, phone details and a photo (optional), will be displayed on the Steadfast Convention App and provided to our sponsors.
The Steadfast Convention App may require you to provide location data for use by the Steadfast Convention App. We will treat this data as personal information. You will ensure that any of your staff, contractors or guests are aware of this clause and provide consent before attending.

Please note that attendance requires your download and use of the Steadfast Convention App.

In relation to COVID-19 or any other contagious or transmittable infection or disease, your name, phone number and email address may be provided to the venues for contract tracing purposes. Your information will be kept in a secure file and will only be provided to the relevant Government entity on request.

By selecting 'I consent' you will be consenting for the collection, use, display and distribution of personal information in connection with the Convention as outlined above. You will ensure that any of your staff, contractors or guests are aware of this clause and provide consent before attending.

AUDIO VISUAL CONSENT

By registering for the Convention, you acknowledge and consent that during your attendance at the 2026 Convention, your image or voice may be recorded via video, photograph or by any other means (“recorded”) by an officer or official of the Convention, which may be distributed or published at the discretion of Steadfast. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are required to email the Convention organiser at events@steadfast.com.au.

These terms will be constructed in accordance with New South Wales law and each party irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New South Wales courts.
